Simon Underwood

I am a multi-skilled freelance consultant, project manager and trainer with extensive experience in the fields of organisational development, community engagement, diversity and social inclusion. My skills include leadership, planning, resource raising, social research, training and group facilitation.

My skillset has been built up over a varied career in the voluntary, social enterprise and public sectors working in a range of roles, from community worker to chief executive, for local and national housing associations and for charities and social enterprises.

As a ‘Big Local Rep’, Simon is the professional advisor to four £1million, 10-year, National Lottery funded, community led social regeneration programmes in North Tyneside, Stockton, Sunderland and Teesside.
